Baseball Field
“Roger Dean Stadium is only a few miles from Beach Daze. Catch a Spring Training game with the Florida Marlins or St Louis Cardinals or a minor league game in the Summer Time with the Jupiter Hammerheads.”

“Oh, my, definitely at the top of our list. Fabulous food and you can go in shorts and a tee shirt or as dressy as you like. Go early or late if you want instant seating. Otherwise, plan on a wait in season. They have nice live music on the softer side and a good selection of beer and wine. Well behaved dogs permitted on the patio.”

“This is our goto spot for breakfast/brunch any day of the week. We have never had a bad meal but it does get VERY busy on Saturday and Sunday. If you download the Yelp app on your phone you can get a place in line before you drive up which will save you time waiting. ”

“downtown Abacoa - Easiest available spot for many restaurants and some shopping, and on Friday nights - open-air band and entertainment of the Amphitheater. On Friday get there before 5:30 and use the complimentary parking - OH, from the Jupiter House you can bike or walk there in under 20 minutes, then UBER home. An out of the way favorite restaurant is LeMETRO, 1155 Main Street. Just enough at the edge to enjoy eating outside without the masses strolling the Pubs and Brewery min town.”

“Several restaurants. A brewery. Some boutique clothing stores. I only go to Abacoa when there is a food truck event or festival of which there are many. Check the calendar. However, the restaurants are good (a few great like the French and Cuban) and the vibe is definitely walkable. Maybe if I had a young family or visitors from out of town I would go more often. ”

“Though they serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, Jumby Bay is more of a late-night destination for the younger crowd. Every night there’s a drink special, such as dollar drafts on Monday and Ladies night on Thursday. Expect loud music and dancing.”

Point of Interest
“Abacoa Golf Club is one of the finest public golf courses in South Florida. It was the last course designed by renowned course architect Joe Lee before his death. In typical Joe Lee style, Abacoa’s lakes and bunkers meet its sloping fairways with little obstruction, and you’ll find scenic views with 14 of its 18 holes surrounded by water. All of these features make the tees, greens, and fairways a pure pleasure to play.”

Comida
“ Walking distance from here, Civil is an IPA Lover’s Heaven. They brew mostly unfiltered, hop-forward beers and always have a wide selection on tap. No beer flights here, but they do offer small pours (4oz) of all their beers. Ambiance is fun, plenty of seating, and their logo – a Frenchie in a suit – is pretty darn cute. Don’t be afraid to try something new and pick up some new swag!”
