“Emblematic building of the Latin quarter, the Pantheon is not only the last residence of France's great names - Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Jean Moulin, Simone Veil and other history makers are resting in peace here - this is also a very impressive piece of art to walk through. If you look up, you'll be awed by its 3-dome ceiling, letting a zenithal light coming in to exagerate the majestic view if the main room.”

“Pantheon was originally built as a church dedicated to St. Genevieve and to house the reliquary châsse containing her relics but, after many changes, now functions as a secular mausoleum containing the remains of distinguished French citizens. It is an early example of neoclassicism, with a façade modeled on the Pantheon in Rome, surmounted by a dome that owes some of its character to Bramante's "Tempietto". Located on the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, the Panthéon looks out over all of Paris. ”

“This is just another amazing historical site with a lot of history. Just to see the fulcrum in the center and its historical significance in addition to all the great minds of France buried just below was an amazing experience to witness. I definitely recommend checking out this place if not only just to see the building itself and nothing else.”

“Imagine walking in a bustling street of le Marais, and suddenly entering a breathtaking Medieval private mansion and finding yourself immersed in an ocean of peace and quietness while being transported back to the 17th Century.Should we add that after a few steps in a beautiful garden, you will then come out to Paris most exquisite Square: la Place des Vosges. The Hotel de Sully is most probably the peak in architectural emotions le Marais has to offer”

“Located on the Ile de la Cité, the Notre-Dame-de-Paris cathedral was for a long time the main symbol of Paris, before the Eiffel Tower was built. It is by the way at the center of Victor Hugo’s novel Notre-Dame de Paris. Among other things, it was the location of Napoleon Bonaparte’s coronation in 1804. The cathedral is open every day from 7:45 am to 6:45 pm (7:15 pm on Saturday and Sunday) Prices: The entrance is free. Access: RER B and C, Saint-Michel – Notre-Dame station, metro Saint-Michel (line 4), Cité (line 4) or Cluny – La Sorbonne (line 10).”
