I call it my little shoebox, my place is decorated shabby chic and it has only the necessities. There isn't central air(there's a window a/c unit in the living room that keeps the house cool, there are also individual electric fans in each room for comfort) or lights in the ceiling except the hallway/kitchen/bathroom and the rest of the house has lamps. The house is in the historic town nudged between the city and islands. Anything you need you can find within 20min food, mall, movies, etc.
My house is unique because its small and minimalistic. I love candles and color but avoid clutter so there's just enough there to create a positive living space. If you enjoy the small things you'll appreciate the nice smell, the items I've decorated with that I've gathered from my travels, and an inviting host. The town is also really cute, it has a couple antique shops, a park, an ice cream parlor, and other small stores worth a stroll. I like taking morning walks on the weekend to explore the little historic town.
My coldersac is comprised of 5 houses, all with families, except mine lol. I do live in Historic town and so the houses reflect that. There are large historic houses nearby as well that are nice to look at. My house is tiny compared to the 3 story beautiful homes I am referring to.
