No perfume/cologne pls due to migraines.
If you need a checkin later than 5pm, please let me know before using Instant Book. I often can accommodate, but I need some notice and cannot always accommodate. I cannot ever accommodate checkins later than 10 pm though. Also, I will need a one hour window set on the day of booking for planning purposes. I understand that flights can be delayed and emergencies come up and we can work together to then find a time that works for both of us.
Please no smokers, even if you are not going to smoke in my home. The smell on the clothing is enough to set off a migraine for me...I'm sorry. I also cannot allow heavy perfumes, aftershave or colognes for the same reason :-(.
Also, no showers after 11 pm as it will wake me up. Other than that, normal courtesy regarding noise levels is expected and no heavy drinking, but social drinking is fine.
Please note the "moderate" cancellation policy and understand that if your plans change in the middle of a stay you've prevented someone else from booking the room.

I'm a 52 year old empty nester who loves hiking, biking, kayaking, dancing and all forms of travel. I love to learn about different cultures, which is one of the reasons I love living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Although I only speak English, I've actually studied a number of languages. I'm fascinated by them, but they just don't seem to stick.
I hope to be doing a lot of travel in the near future and can't wait to meet many new people around the world.
After surviving cancer, I learned you never know what the future will bring so make the most of today.
