Enjoy this second-floor corner bedroom with two queen beds and private bathroom. Full gourmet breakfast included.
Built in 1861, this was the gorgeous home of a 19th century sea captain - Captain Tom Lawrence -, located just a few minutes' walk to Falmouth's Main Street cafes, shops and restaurants, free bus shuttle to Woods Hole Martha's Vineyard Ferry, and the Shining Sea bike path.
The house reflects the warmth and charm of the elegant whaling captain's home it once was. With its circular stairway, high ceilings, gleaming hardwood floors, and architectural detail, the Inn, which is listed on the National Historic Register, remains much as it was when Captain Lawrence and his family lived here more than a century ago.
The Captain Tom Lawrence House Inn is an intimate inn, for those who appreciate fine accommodations and warm hospitality. The rooms, which are centrally air conditioned and include a private bathroom, are individually decorated and equipped with conveniences such as cable television and wifi.
Steeped in history, the Inn offers a blend of New England tradition, Old World charm, and easy access to exploring the entire Cape and the nearby islands of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.

I was born in Denmark but spent much of my life traveling, living and working in many countries, on most of the continents. I bid you welcome, traveler!
My family has run hotels for several generations. I can appreciate how important it is to have a comfy, cozy place to come back to after a long day of exploration during a fun vacation on the Cape!
We look forward to welcoming you!
