Part of the original homestead built in 1894. A favorite room here due to its serene charm.
Views are of the Parkway from one window and the Springhouse on the front lawn from the other window.
Relax in a private jacuzzi bath filled with natural spring water.
We are sure you will love this room as much as we do.
We are situated 100 yards off the Blue Ridge Parkway with plenty of fishing, cycling, and hiking opportunities.

I am most always on the property as I work from home. We are avid gardeners here so if you can not find me at my desk, or in the kitchen, you will find one of us in the dirt.
Otros aspectos destacables
As this is our personal home we do not give out house keys. However, you will be given a key to keep your room private while you are in residence. If your plans keep you out late it is appreciated that you communicate with your Hosts so that arrangements can be made.
Cigarette/Cigar smoking is not permitted in the house. Smoking is permitted outside, but please be mindful of filters and smoke drift near windows and doors.
For the sake of liability it is asked that house guests do not bring personal guests onto the property.
Moderate use of alcohol is accepted, however, drunk and/or otherwise disorderly, is another discussion and will result in termination of your stay.

In my professional life I work from home for a .com that services Used Book Sellers on Amazon, eBay, and many other venues. I do Tech support as well, though I typically refer to it as being a Process Monkey after hearing the phrase from one of our guests and adopting it as my own.
In my private life I do a little web development, am an aspiring beekeeper, a bit of an organic gardener, and a stained glass artist. I have an interest in learning to build with natural material and am determined that I will live in a natural home before this walk is done.
I initially started hosting through airbnb because I have extra rooms that need life and thought it would be an excellent way to fund some of my interests. I've since realized that I am somewhat of a hermit and hosting brings the world to my door. So, I get worldly interaction without having to leave my house, it's fun, and I get new toys. Win-win situations do not fall into your lap everyday. Seize the day, right?
My space in this world is a judgement free zone inhabited by heathens really. And the only rules are those you have to agree to upon reserving your room.
