Halfway between central Siem Reap and Angkor Wat inside the Angkor Archaeological Park, we provide a unique experience to all travelers in our traditional wooden house and 1 hectare large garden. Come and meet our Cambodian-Danish family of six!
Channa´s Angkor Homestay is situated on a hectare large piece of property inside the Angkor Archaeological Park. You can wander around freely in our garden and interact with our children and dogs. There are hammocks available too. Apart from the two rooms in our main house - the Superior Homestay accommodation - we also have a garden cottage (Budget Homestay). The bathroom is shared with us and is some 25 meters away. Please inquire for further details. Please see our reviews on TripAdvisor (Channa´s Angkor Homestay).

Unless you come equipped with a GPS you will never find us on your own! We live in a very secluded area. Most of our guests arrive by air, and if you let us know your time of arrival and flight number, we will provide a tuk tuk pick up free of charge. We have good quality bicycles here that are also included in the room rate and that you are welcome to use for going into town or visiting the temples. We provide locks and also lights if you are out after dark. You can easily reach the center of Siem Reap in fifteen minutes, and Angkor Wat is a similar distance away.
Atención a los huéspedes
We are always happy to give advice to our guests. Channa is Cambodian and knows her country and people well, Thomas has been in Cambodia for 22 years. Our three children Amanda, Anita and Anton will be sure to communicate with you in all sorts of ways! Channa cooks delicious local food, and a popular way of getting to know the family is by joining us at the dinner table. Please let us know in the morning, so that Channa can do her shopping at the local market, and let her know if you have any particular preferences. A complete meal (starter, main course, dessert and beverage) is $10 per person. You may also be able to persuade Channa to give you a massage - she is professionally trained and very good!

Free, fast and reliable WiFi is available everywhere.
As a general rule we go to bed early - normally around 10pm. You are welcome to stay out later than that, but it will be quiet here when you get back. Likewise we rise early - around 6am, and there will be children playing, dogs barking and the occasional rooster crowing, so you may find it difficult to sleep late. But the temples are nicest (coolest) in the early morning hours anyway! Breakfast is generally served 7-7:30am, but we can be flexible. Do not smoke in the rooms, thank you!
We are a Cambodian-Danish family of five living and working in Siem Reap, where we have established a homestay or bed & breakfast place in our home, which is situated inside the Angkor Archaeological Park, some three kilometers from the town center and with a similar distance to the front gate of Angkor Wat, on a one-hectare plot of tropical, forested land. We can provide accommodation for single travelers or groups of up to seven persons (with or without children) in our three rooms with electric fans. We are also happy to provide breakfast, dinner and other services such as bicycles for your explorations around the Angkor temples. We do have wi-fi available, too. Apart from our homestay business, I am myself an architect by profession, and have designed and supervised the construction of our home, and these days I commonly translate texts from English to Danish for various overseas clients. Channa and our three children Amanda, Anita and Anton will gladly keep you company when I am not available :-)
