Our purpose built waterfront property has fabulous views out into the Bay where we swim, fish, and kayak. The garden goes down to the water and is full of bird life and wonderful plants. As one guest said '' how can you bear to leave this place"! The apartment has a queen bed in a separate bedroom and a set of bunks in an alcove off the living area. There is also a sofa bed in the living are. There is a laundry. The covered deck is a very popular space.

El alojamiento
Many guests enjoy the bird life and the opportunity to wander down through the garden to the beach below. We are on the walk way that goes from Okiato through to Russell then across in the passenger ferry to Paihia, then on the Opua and a ride as foot passenger on the car ferry back to Okiato. We are a few 100 meters from the site of NZ first capital. So much to see and do. We are 500 meters up the hill on the left as you leave the car ferry from Opua.

Acceso para huéspedes
A drive way takes you down to the apartment and garden. You also have access to the upper deck if you have breakfast at $15 per person. Various tracks through the property lead to the beach below.

Otros aspectos destacables
A full breakfast is available for $15 per person or $10 for the continental option.

Gary and I have lived in the Bay of Islands for 20yrs and it was sailing that brought us here. The area is wonderful for all sorts of water activities. They called Gary coach because he was a sportsman at heart having taught PE for 40 years. He had a keen interest in cricket and rugby. For me this is paradise because I can swim across the bay below our house; can cycle, walk and kayak again from our house. We loved to share it with guests from all over the world. Unfortunately Gary passed away in April this year 2019 and it is up to me to continue the wonderful hospitality our guests enjoy. This I look forward to very much.
