I enjoying working at my home: in the garden, the kitchen or on creative projects; traveling, yoga, dancing, eating out with friends and I love meeting people, which is why opening my home to travelers is such a great opportunity.
In my previous life, I taught nutrition and a culinary arts program in local high school, enjoyed being at "at home mom" raising 3 wonderful children (and now I have a beautiful grand daughter and grandson ;-) and subbed K-12 for 10 years.
These days I fill my hours with remodeling projects, teaching dance classes 2 nights a week, leading occasional workshops as a life coach, maintaining rental spaces, and dreaming of my next trip. Mostly I ENJOY life as I count my blessings.
My life motto for the last 10 years has been:
"I live my life with grace, elegance and ease, gratitude and awe and with eyes to see the Providential serendipities." It's been a pretty fun way to live life.
On my morning walk today, I was thinking that maybe I should create a new motto for the next 10 years. When I do, I'll let you know.
