It was a very unique experience and David is quite of a character. Overall it was a positive stay, but if you're not ready to leave all the civilisation behind, you may struggle! Having said that, there's the 'nature' restroom where you can hide behind the Rocky Mountains but if you are more keen to using a proper toilet, the ranch has got the facilities. Taking a shower is more of a problem as David directed us to a town and suggested we look for one in a divers centre. If you don't mind such discomforts, you'll be fine! Other practical stuff - David provides the mattress and blankets, so you won't be cold - notice that winter nights might be cold in a dessert. Food wise - I wouldn't recommend going for dessert dinner or breakfast if you've got a sensitive stomach ;-). Otherwise very unique dishes and prepared by an authentic nomad. When it comes to interactions, David is the kindest and most approachable person. An interesting and pretty eccentric individual with a good soul and interesting, often times funny life philosophies. He seems to be knowledgeable and has lots of local connections. Very laid back and helpful. Last but not least, a camel trip is highly recommended! We only took an hour, but guess to fully feel the beauty and get into proper dessert feeling, a 4-hour one would be a much better choice.

The Exodus Nomadic Caravan tour with our guide David was wonderful ! Simplicity of the desert, smiles, good typical cooking, free spirit, night long talks... All the ingredients to have a memorable experience close to the cities and so far in the same time... We are thankful to our precious guide David for all of that !

If you want to see the other side of Eilat and experience the nomadic life style, this is a must! I will remember the night near the beach for a long time :)
