Please note that because our building is historic, we do not have an elevator. You will have to climb 3 flights of stairs to access our home. Also, because of the nature of New York City, we prefer that you tell anyone who might ask that you are a guest in our home.
**Please note - there is a Cancer research center being built next door, so construction can sometimes be noisy. The city requires that the construction site begin at 7am Monday-Friday and 9am on Saturdays. The site shuts down everyday at promptly 6pm, so it is always quiet during sleeping hours. There is no construction on Sundays.
We are hard working professionals, so we keep our home clean and quiet. We expect our guests to come back after a long day and enjoy relaxing in a calm atmosphere. We ask our guests to please be quiet and respectful of our home and our neighbors, and we request no outside visitors. We ask that our guests please sleep in the designated bedrooms provided. We wake up early for work, so we ask that our guests observe normal sleeping/waking hours. Please - no pets, and no smoking.
We are Ross and Ragan - a young, twenty-something married couple living in the heart of the Upper East Side. We both enjoy traveling, and we are fortunate to be able to travel often for both work and pleasure. On any given Saturday you might find us enjoying a bagel and coffee at our favorite neighborhood bakery in New York, walking around Central Park, or just generally exploring everything that our wonderful city has to offer. We both love to read, and finding antique bookstores is something that we enjoy doing. Ragan is a self-proclaimed foodie, and on Friday nights you can find her enjoying a gourmet cheese tray with a side of pinot grigio. Ross is a hard worker, and his idea of relaxation usually involves reading the Wall Street Journal or discussing a new business venture. We enjoy hosting guests who are interested in experiencing the great cultural insights that New York City has to offer, and we appreciate an intelligent conversation over a glass of wine on any given week night.
