Pests: Pests are an unfortunate fact of life in NC, especially in historic houses and well-treed properties. However, many guests object to the use of conventional pesticides. We have engaged Sage Pest Control, an environmentally friendly company that uses chrysanthemum-based products to provide guaranteed treatments. If you see any ants, roaches, mosquitoes or spiders, please report the problem to the company and they will send someone over. The contact information will be provided in the House Manual.
