if you want a budget, then this is it. I only used this location as a place to sleep and shower. the area is pretty cool for street markets to find bargains and the metro isn't that far. The host was responsive to my needs and helped. No complaints here.

Enough for what I needed. Know what you need before reserving this place. It is a basic location: bed to sleep in; warm water to shower in; air conditioner when it's hot; water heater, refrigerator, towels, toiletries, basic appliances. What it is not: luxurious especially the area so please do not expect an elevator, or good smells or good sights. It is a trek up the stairs. You may encounter some odors and some critters. Overall, great for what we needed: a convenient place to rest and shower while we explored Hong Kong and an easy place to check in and out of.

Flat was perfect for what i was needed. It had a small fridge, shower didn't leak, and all the amenities I need (ie. hot water pot, air conditioning, fan, wifi, etc..). the instructions were very easy to follow and the self-check in was super easy, especially since it was almost 1am when i arrived at the apartment. There's a 7-11 around the corner and across the street, Watsons, and great street food across the street on Pei Ho street for a quick bite. If you're looking at staying in Sham Shui Po, I would recommend this place.

Kwan was a great host. We had a small problem upon arrival, as the cleaning lady had accidentally taken the key from the box we were to find it in. We contacted Kwan and he was at the room with another key in less than half an hour! We had a great experience with him as our host. The studio room we booked was a typical Hong Kong place -- tiny but with everything we needed. The sink, mini fridge, bunk bed for 3, and small bathroom/shower were all in one room, but it was perfect for our 1-night stay. The night we were there was rather cold with no heat in the room, but that is unusual for HK, so it wasn't a big deal. Check the weather before you go!

Kwan sent great directions to get to the apartment via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) (including several videos showing the short walk from the Sham Shui Po metro station). There are a series of padlocks that open up mailboxes to get keys for your room. He will give you the codes ahead of time so you can get your keys and let yourself into the apartment. Super easy and convenient. The apartment is really small, as are most accommodations in HK. The neighborhood is very working class. Depending on who you ask, not the safest place in HK, although the apartment it self is extremely secure (you have to unlock four separate doors to get from the building stairwell to your room!). Less than five minutes walk to the metro and within 20 minutes from your room door, you can be in downtown HK. The HK metro closes at 11:00pm, so if you spend the evening dining/drinking on the HK island, you will have to fork over ~70 HKD for a cab back home (20 minute cab ride). All in all, a fun trip weekend trip to HK for me!
