El alojamiento
Welcome to my Arts District Casita! This eclectic 1912 Phoenix bungalow has hardwood floors and tile throughout. If you are a couple, or don't mind sharing a giant bed,and only need one room please just denote "one person" when you book otherwise you'll be charged additionally for the second room. You will have a master suite and the option for a second bedroom with a full size bed and shared bathroom (if you don't want to share a bed or have a larger party). The casita has central heat and air conditioning and a secondary unit in your master suite. There is a city-lights phoenix skyline view from the large fenced back yard and your window. From the front porch it's hard to imagine that you are in the heart of downtown Phoenix. This sweet tree lined neighborhood called the "Triangle", is vibrant and friendly. The Triangle is artsy with urban grit, authentic, steeped in the history of Phoenix. In the evening you might faintly hear, Japanese drumming from the karate studio four blocks away or a mariachi band practicing down the street and quite possibly my neighbors playing with their grandkids and joking in Spanish. There is a little park a 1/2 block away and is great for kids and critters.
I can accommodate more that 4 persons but we'll have to talk about specific details before committing to additional persons. The space would be perfect if you or a small group is in town for workshops or a conference! If you would like your well behaved pet to join you on your trip please contact me before booking. Please do not bring a pet without discussing with me first. This includes service animals.

Dónde vas a estar

Phoenix, Arizona, Estados Unidos

This section of the arts district neighborhood is called the "Triangle", and is located between Roosevelt, 7th Ave and Grand Avenue in the heart of downtown Phoenix. It is a collection of historic homes and some new hipster-esqe condos. The Triangle is a historic, ethnically diverse, artistic, gritty but very safe, interesting neighborhood, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else in Phoenix.
There is a sweet little park a half block away, a great bar/restaurant with nightly live music called 3rd space only two blocks walk as well one of the best pizza joints in Phoenix! Great bars, cafes, coffee shops, galleries, and museums are very close!

Hello, I wouldn't live anywhere else in Phoenix than the downtown arts districts! The neighborhood is friendly and interesting with enough grit to remind you that your in an urban area but with enough charm to make you feel like part of a community. You can find amazing food, music and culture a walk or short bike ride from my house. I love the outdoors and spend a lot of my time exploring the back country of our great state. In Phoenix itself, hiking and outdoor activities are incredible. South mountain is close and the weather is just getting cool enough to enjoy the trails. Flagstaff, Sedona and the Mogollon rim are a short day trip. Id be happy to offer insight on hiking and other activities in the area!

Durante tu estancia

Phoenix is cooling down! Hiking, biking and strolling is awesome this time of year! Great art events, festivals and outdoor activities are happening! The house is large enough for you to feel like you have your own space, and the guest area is private. If you wish, I'd be more than happy to help you plan excursions or local hikes! I can recommend lots of places and activities that I like, from the best coffee shops, interesting restaurants and nearby epic desert trails. There are some amazing day trips I can suggest,as well as great info if your heading up to the Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon area. Please let me know if you have any special dietary needs or preferences. We enjoy cooking and am happy to share!
