Recently renovated (November 2015) duplex home. Modern/bright decor with brand new furniture, flooring, appliances and beds. Private, self-contained 2-bed/1-bath 1st floor unit with off-street parking. Sleeps four.
The house is an `up and down' duplex with two completely separate units, the rental space is on the first floor. We use the upstairs unit most weekends.
It is a completely self-contained unit, with its own front door. There is a patio area outside the living room to relax during the warmer weather.
We have fully renovated the interior of the property and made it as welcoming, comfortable and convenient as we can. We've chosen a few bright colors though, so you may want to leave your sunglasses on when you first enter the place.
- Lounge Area: Ample seating for 4, 40" Smart TV
- Kitchen: Fully equipped. Sit and eat at the bar or dining area.
- Master Bedroom with King Bed, 32" Smart TV and work area.
- Second Bedroom: Two Twin XL Beds that can easily be joined to form a King bed. 24" Smart TV.
- Bathroom: Tub/Shower and two sinks.
- Cable and Netflix is available. DVD Player
- Adult and children board games.
The interior is basically brand new (November 2015), with all new flooring, furniture, appliances and beds. It also has a washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Even though the Prescott weather is never too extreme, we have central air conditioning and heating - and also ceiling fans in each bedroom.
If we are not using the upper unit, we may be able to offer it as a 1-bed/1-bath unit if guests need additional space. Our master bedroom would be locked, but guests can use the rest of the unit (kitchen, bathroom upstairs deck etc.) Please check for availability and pricing.

Plenty of off-street parking, with a covered car port. The house has keypad keyless entry.

We live in the upstairs unit at weekends, however during the week we are not far away if needed. We would be there to meet our guests whenever possible, but if not we will be available by phone, text or email for any assistance our guests might need.
We'll give you as much help as you need or want and you will have full privacy to enjoy the house. You may occasionally hear us going up and down the exterior stairs to the upper unit - but we promise to tiptoe.
And if we happen to see you in our favorite downtown watering hole (Granite Mountain Brewing), we'll buy you a pint!

Infants & Children: We do consider bookings with infants and children however please be aware our home is not child friendly or child proofed.
Smoking: No smoking in the house please. Outside is OK (but please clear up any cigarette butts).
Noise: Have fun, but please respect the neighbors and keep noise to generally acceptable levels - especially after 10pm at night.
Pets: Sorry, although we love animals, we have to reluctantly say no pets because some guests are allergic to pet hair.
Kitchen: Please do not put hot pans on the kitchen surfaces - surface plates are provided.
Andy and I have been long time airbnb guests (please feel free to check out our feedback as guests) and have also welcomed guests to other properties we have owned in the past.
Because we've enjoyed being airbnb guests so often - and have met some great people ... we decided that we also wanted to host a place that our guests would enjoy and hopefully want to come back to.
