House surely was thoroughly cleaned 2 days before Mark arrived. His arrival on New Year's day forbid me from sending in a housekeeper at the moment he complained - which is what I tried to explain, to no avail. All linens were clean, albeit one with a small Aloe juice stain which is common at our beach destination. Indeed the dishwasher was not run/emptied from previous stay - which we agree is inexcusable and we apologized for such, but Mark could not be satisfied with an apology and offer to rectify and it was suggested he was welcome to check-out with full refund, no worries. We then doubled the standard HSK service at no additional cost to Mark. Mark, or guest used the bathtub with sandy feet which filled the tub/drain with sand which is not helpful. The bikes that are claimed to be in bad repair could easily have been replaced or tended to, but we were never advised. However Mark and guest left two of the bikes on the ground overnight in the rain at the local Inn, which does not help.
