I am retired and living in Beaconsfield Upper with my wife Nicky, who is a secondary school teacher at a school nearby. We both grew up in Africa and are avid adventurers and explorers.
We love to travel and our special places are South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, UK, Italy and Greece. We are independent travellers and are happy to tour on our own, taking the road less travelled whenever we can. We fly, self-drive, camp in the bush and enjoy being away from the crowds and pampered destinations.
I now work as a photo-artist and photography is a passion. Wild life and landscapes are my favourite genre. We both love cooking and trying out new dishes, and our favourite times are Friday evenings when we can sit by the fire and enjoy a glass of wine and snacks at the end of the week.
We love meeting people and hearing their stories and our home is always open to visitors whom we love to feed. We won't smother our guests but will do all we can to point them to local attractions and make sure their stay is relaxed. Our serene 2 acre property adjoins a large bushland reserve with a variety of tranquil forest walks, birds and wild life. Views are amazing!
