Visiting Ann Arbor? Love Nature? You are welcome to stay with us in a private bedroom in our quaint home, surrounded by nature, near the Huron River, just a 10 minute drive to downtown. The rest of the house is available to you, including a large screened in porch.
Your room is sweet and cozy with wheat colored paint, a double bed, 100% cotton sheets, a small dresser, a bedside table, each with a lamp, a chair and a closet. You will be using the main bathroom so it's not an entirely private bathroom but since we have our own bathroom, there won't be much competition for bathroom time. We invite you into our home and welcome you into the rest of the house.
Disponible para huéspedes
Stay in our cozy private room and have access to the rest of the house. In addition to the bathroom (we supply towels, shampoo, soap, and conditioner) this includes access to our full kitchen (including use of shelf space, fridge, pots and pans, dishes etc. (please clean up after yourself)), two family rooms, one with a fireplace and one with a wood burning stove, screened in porch and expansive yard (with garden bench and hammock in the warm seasons).

We aim to be here to help you! We are Ann Arbor natives and can make recommendations on just about anything, from restaurants to public transportation, from parks and nature areas to fun things to do in and around Ann Arbor. We are here to support you during your stay and hope we can provide you not only with a comfortable place to lay your head and hang out and relax but also with information, conversation, and a smile.
We simply ask that you are respectful and that you treat our home as you treat yours. We keep things neat and tidy and ask that you pick up after yourself in the common areas. We will give you a mini orientation to show you where things are and so forth. We keep regular hours and get up early for work so if you come in late, we ask that you are quiet. Please refrain from wearing strong perfumes during your stay, as we have some chemical sensitivities. We don't mind answering your questions and are here to help make your stay go as smoothly as possible!
Kelly and Scott are native Ann Arborites and almost empty nesters. Married for 6 years with 4 kids and no pets at the moment, we both work in research at the University of Michigan. Kelly also has her own business as a bodyworker practicing Thai massage and Shiatsu. We love nature, hiking, biking, cooking/eating good food and doing water activities together. Scott is active in several hockey leagues and Kelly practices yoga, meditation, and gardening. We look forward to connecting with you and sharing our home.
