Do you miss seeing the stars at night? At Prescott Perch, you will have an experience of bright, clear skies and falling stars. Don't forget to make a wish!
Perfect weather, with cool evenings and warm, (not hot) summers. If you like an occasional afternoon rain we have those too during our monsoon season as well as snow on occasion during some winter months. (It is always recommended you bring chains.) Prescott Perch sits up on a hill and the road is curvy and narrows at times. Keep safety in mind for yourself and our neighbors.
Christmas is very special here. We are called the 'Christmas City'. The town square and the Court House are a blaze with lights. Businesses open their doors for local singers and bands, serving hot chocolate. Old fashioned? You bet... Small Town USA. We are dog friendly too, just walk to the town square and you will see every dog on the AKC list and some you haven't. Farmers markets are plentiful here along with local artists. Don't miss 'The Worlds Oldest Rodeo', June 29th - July 5th. Get your tickets now before they sell out. Have you ever watched the classic Steve McQueen's movie, Junior Bonner? Some of that was filmed right here in Prescott. A famous bar scene was filmed at the Palace Bar which opened its doors in 1877 and is still open to this day. Full dining and a large bar.

NO SMOKING OF ANY PRODUCT When you drive up to our home, you will be impressed with the blue skies, clean air and views. Prescott is known for friendly folks and that hometown atmosphere. Plenty of wildlife abounds in the area including Bald Eagles, woodpeckers, deer, Javelina and Prong horn antelope.
Unique shopping and dining are to be had. For organic dining try The Raven, with live bands and roof top dining. Don't miss Nectar, A Modern Herbal Apothecary for the best Teas! The Honey Man is in Prescott and Prescott Valley. Lot's of local honey and earthy, organic foods.
We have many antique and specialty consignment shops too. Three Sisters is 5 minutes out of town. Dana, the owner has new and interesting items. . If a traditional Mall is something you need, we have a small one, with Sears, Dillard's and Penney's stores. Trader Joe's, Whole foods, and Sprouts are here as well.
If our guests have any health issues that may need medical attention, Yavapai Regional Medical Center made Consumer Reports Top 10 Hospitals in the Country for surgery. In addition, we have a VA hospital here. The Fort Whipple Museum is located on the grounds of the Bob Stump Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
You will be staying only 4 miles from Watson Lake and 6 miles to Willow Creek Reservoir. See the beautiful Granite Dells and enjoy hiking and water activities. For you shooting enthusiasts we have half a dozen choices of indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, all within 15 minutes drive time from our property. Don't forget that the Grand Canyon South Rim is a short 2 hours ride by car or take the train from Williams and have a fun experience on the train. The mining town of Jerome is 30 minutes away and shouldn't be missed either. Sedona is laid back and only 50 minutes to the east. Don't miss the Worlds Oldest Rodeo from June 29-July 5th! Make reservations early or you will be left out!
NO parking your vehicles other than in the carport or the gravel drive way. No parking on the front yard. No smoking in the house and no open flames out side. We respect our neighbors privacy and do not wish to disrupt their or your peace and quite. If there is an excessive of cleaning, outside the norm and housekeeping has to take extra time to clean, there will be an extra charge to the guest. We ask that you cover your food in the microwave, clean up any spills in the oven or floors/carpets. Please strip the used sheets and put used towels in the laundry room, thank you. Please run the dishwasher prior to leaving. Always double check for left behind belongings. Ensure doors and windows are locked.
There is a binder full of helpful information to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We are available 24/7. Check out instructions posted in the house. Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am. If you arrive early without clearing with the owner or check out late, this could impact the next guest checking in or housekeeper tight schedule. We try to accommodate our guests, so please just ask and we will try and make it happen.
