This beautiful Bungalow is nestled in the side of Mount Uncanoonuc. Views for 100's of miles. Quiet and peaceful, you will feel like you are in another world. The mountain has countless, well marked, hiking trails steps from your door!

Our mountain top bungalow is available for nightly or weekly rentals. Nestled in the side of Mount Uncanoonuc, with easterly views of Manchester, NH and Boston. *Mount Uncanoonuc is located in Goffstown NH, and is only 15 minutes from Manchester! This bungalow can be utilized as one story living, but does have an additional bedroom and bath down below, which has it's own large deck.

This cozy, fully furnished 2 bedroom bungalow sleeps 4 comfortably, and is great for 1 to 2 couples.* You will have the house all to yourselves, unless you plan on bringing a couple friends. The quaint little kitchen will inspire you to whip up a hearty breakfast before heading to the many trails Mount Uncanoonuc boasts. (*Please note: 1-2 people is single occupancy. 3-4 people is double. The price doubles. Once you enter the number of guests that will be staying, the calculations are done for you automatically, which includes airbnb fee, cleaning fee and occupancy tax. We do not charge a security deposit as you will note on the itemized price.

The bungalow is a privately owned home that has been meticulously renovated, resulting in a warm, cozy and comfortable home. We have so enjoyed this fantastic place, and the incredible tranquility, that we felt we needed to share this with other like minded people, who also have a great appreciation for nature. We are so anxious for you to come stay and experience the joy we have for many years!

We spent an extensive amount of time renovating and decorating this bungalow. Our objective was to create a ‘feeling’ of comfort and homeyness. We want our guests, not just to appreciate the decor visually, but we want to evoke a feeling of peace and calm. We think we’ve achieved this objective, but, you be the judge!

Uncanoonuc trails literally begin steps from your door. Take a walk down the old Cog railroad bed and cool off with a swim in Mountain base pond.

You won’t be for a loss of things to do. Whether you hike, bike, swim, go antiquing, shopping, movies, or just kicking back on our expansive deck overlooking our gorgeous view, you’ll have memories to last a lifetime! This bungalow was designed to accommodate 2-4 people maximum. It is most conducive for people looking for quiet serenity and relaxation. If you are looking to party, you’re looking in the wrong place.

NO SMOKING & NO PETS. NO EXCEPTIONS. I appreciate your love for your pets, but please do not contact me asking me to make an exception for your "small, well trained dog". Thank you!

You have complete access to the entire house, with no one else on the premises during your stay.

Otros aspectos destacables
WINTER GUESTS
Now, this is very important for winter guests. You absolutely have to have an All wheel, or 4 wheel drive vehicle. Though we do plow, snow blow, salt and sand, in the event we get a storm, a two wheel drive vehicle will not be able to get out. I've bent the rules a couple times, and we ended up towing people out. My husband was none too pleased with me ;)

TERRAIN
Now, I know this goes without saying, but, these houses are situated on TOP of a mountain, therefore, the roads are steep and hilly, even in the summer. I've gotten feedback that people were 'surprised' by this. :) So please be aware.

INSECTS
As you are aware, this house is situated on the top of a mountain and surrounded by thousands of acres of wooded conservation land. We do have an extermination company service all of our listings on a regular basis. For the most part there are virtually no issues with insects, except on occasion with Lady Bugs. Due to the elevation the entire town experiences an abundance of these little guys. During the spring and fall there are several days that they make an appearance on sunny days. Unfortunately they sometimes find their way inside, and due to a short life span will die. So, IF you have ANY issues with this then I would advise you NOT to rent. I personally am not bothered by this, and many people are not, but if you are then I would recommend another listing.

WIFI/INTERNET
We are limited in our options for internet, on the mountain. We currently offer a HotSpot which is NOT capable of streaming, and I would classify it as merely 'adequate'. If internet is imperative for work, this may be a problem for you, and we would recommend that you do not rent the property. Or, if you are glued to your devices, we'd suggest staying home and saving money ;) No point in wasting it if you aren't going to enjoy our home. :)

PETS AND SMOKING
Not allowed. Please do not contact asking me to make exceptions for your 'small well trained dog'. We are loving pet owners ourselves, but they are never allowed on the properties. We have many guests that have allergies to animals.

SINGLE VS DOUBLE OCCUPANCY
This seems to be a common question. 1-2 people is single occupancy. 3-4 people is double occupancy, which means the price doubles. Many people have argued that they are 'renting the whole house anyway'. Think of it this way: when you fly on an airplane, despite everyone being under the same roof, each passenger pays their own fare. Hopefully this analogy clears up any confusion :)

And please, be honest with the number of guests who will be staying. You will not be able to 'sneak' people in without being noticed. Lets not make an awkward situation for any of us. :0 Thanks!
