We are 1 mi from the Blue Ridge Parkway. We are conveniently located between Blowing Rock and Boone. 10 min from Blowing Rock & 15 min from Appalachian University, Skiing, & Boone

Upon arrival you will notice the Eastern Red Cedar Siding on our cottage, that is 3 bedroom/ 2 bath along with the wood craftsmanship thru out the house. This house has two suites that mirror one another.Both are rental suites.. You can rent the whole house if you want. We are conveniently located to all the Major Attractions in the High Country. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian State University, Tweetsie Railroad, skiing, rafting, hiking, climbing and mountain biking.
If you need a place to escape, relax, and view some serious beauty your search is over!

Our Cottage is a multi-family home consisting of two separate suites (two full houses).upper & lower. This rental is the entire lower level suite.
The two suites of our duplex floor plan, mirror one other, and both floors have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Master bedroom, with attached bath has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a full size bed and the third bedroom has two twin size beds. There is one entrance which contains a digital keypad, upon entry you will notice there is an upstairs and a downstairs. You will be staying in Unit B which is the lower level. While you're here, enjoy your morning coffee, on the deck and enjoy the fantastic views!

There is No smoking allowed anywhere in the house. If you choose to smoke outside please dispose of your butts and do not throw them in the yard or leave them on the deck.
Please clean up after yourself and leave the place as it was when you checked in. As the weather is getting cooler, you may want to use the baseboard heaters located in each of the bedrooms. The thermostats are very sensitive(located by the light switches) and I would like to suggest that you turn them on low starting off then adjust to your comfort. Please keep all garments and items AWAY from the heaters. In order to keep cost low, I ask that you turn off all lights and the baseboard heaters before you leave the house empty. You will find Breakfast foods in the cabinet (oatmeal, breakfast bar's, etc.) along with coffee and juice. As always, please clean up after yourself (when making coffee, cooking, after showers, in the living room, etc.) Likewise, please dispose of the trash in the larger garbage can located outside, at the side of the house. For longer stays or overflows, please take your trash to the 321 AHO site located about 3 miles south on the left on 321. Do not leave trash in the house or next to the garbage can upon departure. Please respect the upstairs tenant, which will be me or other guests.
There are wild Turkey, deer, foxes, squirrels, etc. that will come into the yard to eat from the Apple tree. Please do not feed any of the wild animals.
-We respect all races, ages, and genders.
-Be courteous.

My husband and I were looking forward to this apt. for our trip. This was a very dissappointed place to stay. Jonathan in his description on airbb failed to ention that they were adding on to his building, there was stuff all over the place, the drivway was absolutley horrible to get in and out, we had to back our car on to the busy road. his house is right on a busy road so the traffic was constant.Our television was broke and we tried several times to contact jonathan, he never responded until we had left .If you think the view is worth staying here it isnt especially for the money. It was a very noisy busy place to stay.We wanted to find another cabin but it was to late.Jonathan needs to be more honest not write sorry we are under construction when you arrive.Very unhappy with him.

I too am very disappointed in this Guest she never once told me of any concerns,problems, or said anything negative to me thru our conversations. We are upgrading the lower driveway which is approximately 800' away from the house. This is off limits to the guest, however, Karen would go down & talk to the maintenance man that was working and he did have a trailer full of construction materials. As far as the TV, I sent the maintenance man to see what the issue was they never answered the door. "Negative people, get Negative results."

Jonathan's cabin has all of the lodge charm and an amazing sunrise view! It was the perfect location for a weekend in Boone whether enjoying App State or the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great central location between Boone and Blowing Rock. Very close to the Parkway, with beautiful views, and gorgeous hiking trails. The house has a pretty breathtaking view as well. Everything we needed for a fun, relaxing week.

Nice, secluded, and quiet location, but only minutes from Blowing Rock and Boone. Great weekend escape.
