It is a wonderful place because it is right next to downtown and yet quiet and peaceful. I love how close it is to the desert. "A" Mountain, a.k.a Sentinel Peak is 1/2 a block over and can be driven, walked or biked. It is an old established neighborhood with lots of diversity. There are very few houses that look alike. Also, on the 4th of July, you can watch the City of Tucson fireworks from A mountain. It's a perfect view. The Sunday after Halloween has a large All Souls Procession that ends 5 blocks away at the Mercado San Augustin. There are two great restaurants at the Mercado. The streetcar is right next to the Mercado, so you can easily get to downtown or UA. UA has some nice museums as well.
There is no smoking allowed in the house or next to the open windows/doors The property is very quiet except on the 4th of July. We expect that you respect the neighbors, tell me if there's a problem.
