Our little cottage is secluded and amazingly quiet. Overlooking our pond and surrounded by woods, it is beautiful year round. Kayak, swim, or light up the fire pit. A separate bedroom and a kitchen/common room fully equipped. Huge deck, miles of trails, tree house, and many unique features!
You get our 450 sq ft. cottage, and huge 10' deck, all to your self. There is a separate bedroom, and bathroom, along with the main room. With a full kitchen (stove, oven, grill, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher) it is easy to bring your own food and prepare it here. We have a full compliment of dishes, silverware, and utensils, along with lots of condiments. What ever you would find in your own kitchen.
The bedroom has a queen sized bed, the loft has two singles, and the bench in the main room becomes a bed when the bolster is removed. In addition we have a blow up queen, and two blow up singles. We can actually sleep 9 but that would be very crowded. 4 is comfortable, 6 is tight.
We now have Wifi, including Netflix.
Please be aware that this is a cabin in the woods. If you love nature, this is your place.

My master's degree and training is in Biology and I worked in a Nature Center during the late 70s. The outdoors and nature have always been my passion.
I started an Alternative Energy Business (The Energy Advantage) in the early 80s, and have lived as green as possible. Our Cottage demonstrates my commitment; the hot water is solar heated, in the winter it is primarily passive solar heated, each room is lit with a skylite, and we recycle everything.
I worked for a dozen years as a contractor and built our cottage almost entirely by myself. Everything you see is my design.
I am an original owner of The Elkridge Furnace Inn, one of Maryland's best fine dinning restaurants, I know hospitality.
I love garden vegetables, berries, fresh fruit, and eggs, so we have a large organic garden, 100 fruit trees and pasture ranged chickens. In the winter we produce Maple Syrup. I hunt deer and process my own meat to insure the highest quality. We would love to be able share our bounty with you. We can no longer buy most of our produce in the store because we know what they should taste like, you will be surprised at the difference.
I don't go with the crowd. You will find that the cottage is different in many ways from the ordinary. It is what we enjoy, and we have taken a lot of effort to make every detail work. We think you will agree.
