Marilly responded my e-mail very quickly. The location of this cabin is very good. We had a great time staying here.

Everything at the lodge was great. The lodge has beautiful great room, which is a great space for hanging out, eating, and playing games. The location is close to skiing, and all kinds of other great attractions. Marilly was helpful and super responsive. We would definitely go back. The lodge had everything we needed, and all we had to bring was food. My only comment is that the lodge is a lot closer to several other cabins than you can tell from the photos. However, the close proximity of the other cabins didn’t interfere with our enjoyment of this beautiful setting. If the weather cooperates, the living room view of Mt. Rainier is particularly spectacular!

Respuesta de Marilly:
It was wonderful hosting Nicholas and his group of 7. He was friendly when responding to communications, completed his part of the reservation process in a timely manner, and understanding when mine was delayed because of family visiting for the holidays. No problems were reported by housekeeping so it looked like a perfect weekend for us all. I would love to host them again in the future. In response to Nicholas' comment about the proximity of cabins nearby, I just added 7 more photos to the Rainier View Lodge listing, and will add the same to our other properties: Bugling Elk Bungalow, Hall Creek Cabin & Mountainside Chalet.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was even better than we expected, and the view of Rainier was incredible! Marilly had everything well organized, and there were no unpleasant surprises. The house felt safe, comfortable, and welcoming.

Respuesta de Marilly:
In your original inquiry you talked about spending a lot of time indoors by the fireplace and maybe some hiking. If you had views of Mt. Rainier, then it appears Mother Nature made accommodations for both. Packwood is such a warm, inviting community, I wonder if anyone made the short hike to The Mountain Goat Coffee Company & Bakery? It has world-class coffee that rivals Starbucks, and a great indoor/outdoor gathering place just 0.3 mi away.
