The apartment (on the 2nd floor, no elevator), is richly furnished and fitted with shining parquet flooring. It opens onto a spacious entrance hall, which leads into the living room through a connecting door made of glass and wood.
The first living room features antique pieces of furniture, a comfortable double sofa bed and a flat screen TV 32”. Moreover, the day area comprises a larger, brighter second living room with views of Via delle Clavature; it is furnished with a 6-seater dining table of wood, a big dresser and another flat screen TV; it also comprises the open-plan kitchen.
The brand-new kitchen (April 2014) is fitted with elegant wooden cabinets and is equipped with electric oven, hobs and a dishwasher.
The day area is located next to a little space with cleaning products, where you can conveniently store your suitcases, do the ironing or hang the washing.
The night area offers two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
The master bedroom is elegantly furnished in classical style: it showcases precious furniture and details rich in charm, such as the crystal chandeliers and the carved night tables, embodying all the fascination of the noble houses of Bologna city centre. The bedroom has a double bed and a custom-made wardrobe.
The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds, to be combined into a double bed if needed. Also this room is embellished by custom-made pieces of furniture.
The bathroom -with decorated ceramic- is equipped with two basins and a shower stall.
The apartment, which comes with high-end details, such as paintings, lithographs and photos, is located in a pedestrian area, close to Piazza Maggiore. This is an incredible place to enjoy your next stay in Bologna.
The apartment is located right at the heart of Bologna city centre, in the immediate vicinity of the Accademia di Belle Arti, the famous Opera Theatre, the Jewish Ghetto, both Garisenda and Asinelli Towers (the Two Towers) -standing at less than 2 min on foot- and, of course, Piazza Maggiore. Via dell’Indipendenza, the most famous shopping street in Bologna, is at 300 meters.
The area offers many restaurants, shops, typical ‘trattorie’, and shops, such as pharmacies, supermarkets and bakeries.
The network of alleyways next to Piazza Maggiore and centered on Via Pescherie Vecchie, which is filled to the brim with mouth-watering deli shops (some selling hand-made pasta, freshly caught fish and meat products), stands right around the corner.
The reception service is active 24h and requires previous appointment. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. the service is free of additional charges, whereas during weekends and festive days and during the period not comprised in the abovementioned timeframe there is an extra cost of 20 euros. From 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the extra cost is 40 euros.
Initial and final cleanings are included in the price. At the checkout, we kindly ask our guests to clean the dishes that were used during the stay and to throw away the garbage in the appropriate trash containers located on the streets.
Domestic pets are allowed. We kindly ask our guests to inform us of their presence.
