This spacious riverside cottage is 2 miles outside Crieff and has a stunning south facing decked balcony over the river.Situated within the grounds of a Victorian private house, it is newly refurbished with spectacular views across fields. Includes 1800cm double bed, bath, separate shower, tennis court and horse livery available.
The exceptional situation of this cottage with balcony and decking over the river, makes it perfect for retreats with only the sound of the bubbling river to lull you to sleep. Within it's own fenced off area it is quiet and peaceful. It has the appearance of a typical New England clapperboard house. There are extensive views across fields to the hills beyond. Stylishly decorated with slate and wooden floors including underfloor heating and a fireplace with plenty of logs supplied. It is full of interesting paintings, prints and books.
The cottage is available to rent for a minimum of 2 nights.
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before midday. If you wish to arrange other times then please contact us in advance.

Otros aspectos destacables
The cottage is situated below the farm steading and is reached by a stoney path, probably not suitable for stiletto shoes!
There is no public transport apart from a school bus twice a day during the week. Crieff is approximately a two mile walk away.
The password for the wifi is: millhillsbarn
I would recommend using '(URL HIDDEN) (free app) and entering:
'duties.slower.motion' to help you find where to park your car. (More precise than a post code)
Please be aware that we are on a working farm with sheep, cattle and horses etc. and close all gates behind you.
The kitchen is hand made with a wooden work top so please don't leave anything abrasive (lemon juice etc) on the surfaces which should only be cleaned with water and/or washing-up liquid.
If you use the ovens or hob please make sure you wipe them down afterwards. There are plenty of cloths and cleaning agents in the cupboard under the sink.

I was brought up in Hampshire and lived in London and Paris working in the interior design and fashion world before moving to Perthshire with my husband to bring up our children on the family farm. We love our animals, horses, dogs, enjoy all food and cooking, galleries/fashion and cinema/TV Mad Men/Homeland/Wolf Hall.
Thoroughly enjoy hosting in the cottage and seeing how much our guests appreciate our efforts to make it the very special space that it is.
