Birzebbugia is simply a residential city of Malta, and you will need to travel hours by bus in any direction to the tourist attractions. But the good news is that Geoffrey's place is close to the bus stops and to a nice little restaurant as well. The only problem was the lack of essential Central European power plug converters in the apartment. Be prepared, Malta has British sockets! In the beginning, we had much trouble with charging our devices, we couldn't find adapters in the nearest little shops, and there are no supermarkets in the area.
If you decide to buy the 7-days-active "Tallinja" card for the Malta Public Transport, which is worth buying, be prepared, that they are VERY hard to find in tobacco or souvenir shops, even in the official kiosks of the provider.
All in all the apartment was comfortable and perfectly good for our needs. The kitchen is well equipped, in addition, there IS an iron despite the description, and the view from the bedroom is truly stunning as on the photos above. :-) When trying to find the apartment, look for the house named "JOSTELL"!
