3 level Condo in Midtown, Houston. Lovely open floor plan for a comfortable stay. This is my primary residence so the kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked. Wifi, Cable, TVs, Nest a/c, gated community, minutes from bars, restaurants and sports stadiums.
It's an open floor plan. There's no doors on any rooms except the bathrooms & closets.
There's big windows on every floor so lots of sunlight!
Master bedroom has blackout curtains.

Otros aspectos destacables
I charge a deposit of $300 in case of accidental damages. Accidents happen but hopefully not too often :) It is refundable.
I have two cats but they will not be here when you're renting.
Though I welcome families to stay, please understand that my home is not designed/equipped for small children.
Above parking garage
My condo unit is partially above the parking garage. When the garage opens/closes, you can hear it a little from the livingroom. I'm used to it and don't notice it anymore but you'll probably notice. It's mainly on the weekdays when my neighbors go to/from work. It's not loud, it's just the vibration of the motor lifting the garage door.
Fire department 1 block away
I live one block from a fire department. This has a pro & a con. PRO: if there's a storm and the electricity goes out in the city, the condo's electricity will be back up immediately because it's on the same power grid as the fire department. CON: if it's a busy night for "the boys", you'll hear the trucks. Again, I'm used to it. It doesn't happen all the time. It's just a city thing.
Why Park outside?
I ask that you park outside the complex because my private parking spot inside the complex is inconveniently located, even for me. I don't want my guests to be inconvenienced. If there's "torrential" rain or a bad storm that lasts a few hours, the condo parking garage & Crawford Street will flood. The parking garage can get about 1-2 feet. Parking on Stuart street (30 seconds down the sidewalk) is safer for your car. The flooding subsides quickly though. Everyone here is used to it. The housing in Midtown is brand new but the street infrastructure is not.
Midtown is a high end area though it's still technically a "transition" neighborhood. Parking your car outside the complex is currently very safe but if you have small children you may still be uncomfortable with this. I would not ask you to park anywhere that I wouldn't (or haven't) parked.
Please do not smoke in the house.
Please do not bring any red wine or food upstairs to the carpet areas.
Please respect the privacy of my office.
Please do not bring your pets.
Please do not invite other people into my home except the ones you've secured on the reservation.
Please keep the TV volume to a respectable level as I have neighbors. The walls aren't thin but, just in case.
I want you to feel comfortable during your stay but please remember I do live here :) I trust you to take care of my place and be respectful of my property.

I work for one of the major global energy companies and live 2 miles from my downtown Houston office. I live alone in a nice place with two cats. On the weekend I like to drive to the lake up north and visit with my family. I travel periodically for my job and am overall very happy!
