Located on the banks of the majestic AuSable River, the spacious Adirondack Vacation Loft is located on the second floor of an historic Landmark building in the quiet hamlet of Upper Jay, New York. The building is the home of the Upper Jay Art Center/Recovery Lounge, a not for profit organization that presents great theater, concerts, and fine art. Centrally located in the heart of the high peaks region, the Loft is ideal for explorers. With two floor futons, the Loft can comfortably sleep 6.
The Loft features an eclectic collection of comfortable reupholstered furniture by the resident upholstery shop, fine art on the walls, and an assortment of vintage decorations. Guests can relax with a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the Ausable River and watch the sun go down. In winter, guests can cozy up to the woodstove as the snow piles up outside.
