Unique apartment on third floor of eighteenth century Scottish tenement on Edinburgh's bustling historic Royal Mile. This light and spacious one bedroom apartment retains many period features and offers fine views of Princes St. and Fife to the north, and onto the High Street to the south.
The apartment comprises a hallway, a kitchen/dining room, a bathroom with a shower and a large living apartment with a double bed, desk and sofa, etc..

A 'Rough Guide to Scotland' is provided in the apartment for the use of guests.

One set of keys is provided as standard. If you require another set, please ask in advance.
Check out time is 11.00 hours and when you leave we ask you to lock the flat door with both keys and put the keys back in the key box outside the gate.
In the green information folder in the flat, we have listed our contact telephone numbers should guests need to speak to one of us personally.

Built around 1780, the apartment is entered from the High Street via Geddes Entry (a traditional Edinburgh 'close') and is on the third floor of the tenement reached by sixty nine steps up a stone 'turnpike stair' (spiral). There is a secure gated entry at street level (see above) and an inner secure door with keypad access at bottom of the stairs.
Strictly no smoking, pets or parties please.
Please note: the bed in the flat is a UK standard double bed with a firm mattress.

We visited Japan in October 2014 and used Airbnb successfully there.
