Rustic cabin camping with propane grill, fire ring with firewood, kitchenette, and outhouse. 80 acres with groomed trails and stream. Bedding, dishes, gas generator, propane, and filled water tank supplied. BYOB, Food, and personal comfort items.
Very private, peaceful setting. The trails are groomed for enjoying nature walks and viewing. A stream runs along the lower trails. A great place to relax and escape the hurried up world. This cabin sits on the edge of a nice field and wood line. It is cozy..aka sleeps 2 in a queen bed.

Parking is at the main house. Safe and secure. A 5 minute walk to the cabin on a trail over a bridged creek and through the woods. The main trail leads out into the 80 acres surrounding the cabins. I can drive things out&back to the cabin with my 4x4 truck.

This is a "roughing it" type of cabin (no running water, electricity or indoor plumbing) with propane grill, stove and no heat. There is a fire ring with wood provided. I provide drinking water, a tank with filtered well water, and a cooler with "initial" 20 pounds of ice. There is an outdoor "camp solar bag shower" at cabin.
Respect nature, clean up after yourself and follow common sense rules.
No pets, unless prior approval by Jeanette. We recycle also. Sorting those items into bins is helpful. Please don't litter. :-)

I grew up in Poplar,WI. I graduated 1986 from Northwestern High School in Maple. I have been in Colorado for the past 28 years. I felt the calling of the Northland last Fall, so my husband and I packed up and moved back. We are blessed to live on a wonderful farm and manage Al's cabins while he is on mission in New Guinea.
We have 2 German Short-hair and a Chihuahua mix dogs, and a silly Siamese mix cat. We raise rabbits, chickens, and a garden for sustainability.
