You will find yourself tucked into a unique antique-filled home full of books and stories. There are two rooms available, listed separately. Use of kitchen and laundry is not available, thanks.
Also know that only DSL wifi is available and phone service is not great.
Kelmscott Farm House Rules: This is a house to be comfortable in, though not a party house. Smoking is allowed out on the porch. The kitchen and laundry room are NOT available for guest use. It may be possible for you to keep a few things in the refrigerator or freezer, but let's discuss that, as well as use of cutlery, plates, etc., before you arrive.
Si Je Puis. If I can. This is my motto adopted from my hero William Morris the artist, writer, and craftsman. What it means in my life is that I am constantly learning and perfecting new skills and using them to create beautiful things in the world.
I love to travel and have been able to see so many places and to discover the cultures and people mainly by staying with friends or in BnB's and guest houses. I try to provide a similar experience for my guests here.
What you will find at Kelmscott Farm is a very laid-back atmosphere with lots of books and art and really good food. I have lived in Franklin for many years and know the area well. I will be delighted to recommend places to visit and must-eat restaurants.
Things are also pretty natural here with bedding washed fragrance-free and hung on the line to dry, local eggs and bacon from down the road. I bake my own sour-dough bread and make preserves. Even the honey is from a neighbor. No artificial fragrance in the house and one very nice cat.
