In the middle of the historic neighbourhood of the Liberties, the house is new, bright and warm, innovative and exciting; Located half-way between the Guinness Brewery and Christchurch Cathedral, it is within easy walking distance of everything. People particularly like the glass floor, bringing light and warmth deep into the house, and the remote control fireplace!
The house is a small modern infill development (51 sqm) and was featured on 'Tiny House Hunters' TV programme in the United States. Although small, the spaces are ingeniously knitted together, full of light and very warm, thanks to a glass roof, and glass floor on the first floor corridor. The sleeping accommodation has one double bed room and one double sofabed in the study.
Disponible para huéspedes
Full access throughout the house - except the attic, where the treasure is kept.

I work during the day as the principal of a busy architectural practice, but I'm happy to meet up and give tips and tricks for my neighbourhood. I also live right nearby.
Otros aspectos destacables
Most things are within walking distance; temple bar is approx 15 minutes, the Guinness brewery is approx 10 minutes. There are a number of local cafes, although for a more substantial meal the city (between 12-15 min walk) offers the best selection of restaurants etc.
The house is not suitable for pets, and I would appreciate if guests would refrain from smoking (in the house). Oh, and no stiletto heels on the oak staircase please - thanks!
Dad, Architect, Surfer - in order of context. Originally from Dublin, I've lived in the Liberties for over 15 years. The neighbourhood is fantastic and, when you get to know the neighbours here, many of whom are 3rd generation at the same address, you become an honourary Liberties adoptee.
Maria, my wife, is from Asturias in the North of Spain. She has inculcated in me a love of seafood, and taught me what it is to eat sea urchin, andaricas, and percebes (a lot of work).
My surfing has taken a back seat since our kids arrived on the scene, but Dara, the eldest (3), is just about at the stage where I can get him onto a board - so travelling out to the west coast may resume shortly.
