The gite has been newly created in July 2015 in a former vigneron's wine domaine. The village is quiet and in a stunning rural location with views of the Pyrenees and Black Mountains. The property is surrounded by vineyards and fields of sunflowers. All amenities (baker, shops, banks, pharmacy, supermarket etc) are available nearby. The perfect space for a quiet retreat but close to the Mediterranean Coast and the Pyrenees Mountains. Paradis des Papillon is the ideal place from which to explore the area including the Medieval walled city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, local vineyards, Cathar castles and lots more. Guests have private and exclusive use of the gite and its garden, off road parking area and terraces.

The English owners, Andy and Sue, will be at the property to meet you, hand over the keys and explain about the gite. Paradis des Papillon is detached and totally private and secluded with its own entrance and garden. We live next door and are on hand to assist guests if required.

Guests are requested to leave the property as they found it on arrival - clean and tidy. If additional cleaning is required this will be deducted from the deposit.

French plumbing is not designed to cope with anything other than toilet paper - no wipes etc to be flushed down the toilet.
