HI Nancy: I didn't realize that I only had 14 days to write a review. Here are my thoughts on my stay:
Lenny and Nancy’s lovely house in Gulfport was a godsend for someone seeking a comfortable place to begin a transition to a new job in the Tampa area. Spacious and roomy for one or two, the house is a large, tastefully furnished and decorated studio just two blocks from Gulfport’s eclectic vacation environment of beach, shops, restaurants, and casino. Other St. Petersburg area beaches are within easy driving distance, as is St. Petersburg itself. Tampa is just 30-45 minutes away, depending on traffic. If you’re a bicyclist, the Pinellas County bike trail can be accessed safely via Gulfport’s residential streets. I rode both to St. Petersburg (marvelous Saturday morning market) and to the Treasure Island beaches safely via this paved trail that runs the length of Pinellas County.
Lenny and Nancy were fabulously caring hosts, who called me multiple times with advice as two hurricanes skated by the area. They also responded quickly to resolve minor maintenance issues. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
You are welcome to post this if the site allows it.
Thanks again, Greg

I love traveling along the coastline in our VW camper visiting state parks and other protected lands along the way. I like to keep it simple.
