Loved the Tin Poppy! It is a wonderful space to hang out in. So spacious and airy. The Tin Poppy feels so removed from the business of civilization, yet it is easy enough to drive to Salmon Arm or go exploring. Maggie was a very accommodating host. I hope to be back someday.

The Tin Poppy is a little gem in the middle of the woods! The photos are cute, but they don't give it justice! It was a totally unique experience. We hope to come back again!

The Tin Poppy is a secluded retreat, ideal for those who want to get away from it all but don't want to camp! There is a huge amount of space that is inside but feels like outside as it's screened rather than glazed. Thankfully this reduces the heat and stops the mosquitos! In the mornings you can sit and listen to the birds calling and see the hummingbird trying to find nectar. In the evenings watch the sun go down over the mountains and play board games together. The space is such that you can be together or have your own space if you'd prefer. It's very versatile and would be good for families, groups of friends or couples. We didn't use the sauna as it was so hot or the fire pit due to the risk of forest fires but the outside shower was a great start to each day! Thanks Maggie for a great stay and for the yogurt and strawberries!

The Tin Poppy was the perfect summer escape for us. While it was warm during the day, it was still cool enough to have a fire at night. From the second story lookout you can watch the sun sink below the tree and mountain line. From the first floor screened in porch you can enjoy a meal or play one of their many board games. The inside of the revamped retro camper, where the main sleeping area and kitchen reside, is cozy, clean, and decorated with so many amazing books! Aside from the Tin Poppy being fanatic, the surrounding towns offer hiking, dining and entertainment. The Enderby Cliffs Trail was a favorite (pretty tough though!). And AnDiamo for an Italian dinner in Salmon Arm was worth the 25 minute drive. We'll be back for another escape soon.

Wow! We're so happy to have found this incredible place, Maggie and family have built something truly special here. So much love and thought has gone in to this place. The space is massive and way better than the pictures suggest. We loved the retro mid century modern vibe and the trailer had all the mod cons. Wifi was really good. The kitchen met all of our needs and was super cute. The fire pit was great and there's plenty of wood. The bed was super comfy, slippers, towels and dressing gowns were provided. The weather was fabulously hot when we visited so we didn't get to try the super cute sauna. What can I say, glamping and then some, couldn't fault the place. Maggie was lovely and really easy to deal with. My favourite airbnb so far! xxx

Our stay at the Tin Poppy was magical. It was our first vacation with our 10 month old, and I fell in love with the idea of that big, screened in room for him to crawl around in the fresh air. We brought along a baby gate for the stairs, and sure enough he spent every afternoon happily playing and exploring while we enjoyed the view. Inside the RV was warm and cosy in the evenings, and my husband loved the sauna. The Tin Poppy is a little bit out of the way, and how you spend each day will depend on the temperature, but that just added to the experience. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere with more character and charm. I would highly recommend, and hope one day we will be able to come again.
