Elitsa Villa is a wonderful place to stay if you like a quit place, with fantastic scenery with the sea and the mountains. The hosts / owners are very friendly. A lot has been written about the small roads around the Villa. The road from and to Zagora is good. Although we tried, the road to the Chorefto Beach was too small and bumby for us. The snorkling (downstairs in the sea) and at Elitsa Beach was great! Many thanks for your kind hospitality!

Direkt am Meer in wunderschöner Landschaft. Parkt das Auto oben an der Straße! Für alle, die dem Trubel entfliehen wollen, genau richtig.

Staying at Villa Elitsa was incredible. It takes some effort to reach the place but it is definitely worth it. The landscape is absolutely stunning. The owners living upstairs are very warm-hearted. It's definitely hard to leave that place! Thank you!

A lovely haven away from the crowds - especially in October when it was less busy anyway. We were welcomed by Spiros who we saw most days often working in his vegetable garden and regularly giving us fresh produce to eat - thanks!! The location is fantastic if you are looking for a secluded and private place to stay - we loved going down the 150 steps to the beach every day especially to see the sun rise up from the sea - the only other visitor to the beach was Spiros for the occasional swim.

The house is very quiet, as in the pictures ... into the trees and in front of the sea ... but difficult accessible and isolated ... so supplies needed! Decorated with care except some excesses, according to our personal aesthetic. The roads not so good and especially the dirt road to Horefto - we had an accident. The owner, Spiros, polite, helpful and willing ... helped us a lot with the accident! The nearby beaches, Horefto and Parisena (suitable for nudism the second), is simply perfect !!! We wish a very beautiful vacations for the next visitors!

Amazing, simply amazing! At Villa Elitza you feel like being at the time when world began, with waves putting you to sleep and birds waking you up in the morning. The whole estate is full of beautiful vegetation and you even have your private rocky beach bellow. The house exterior and interior have great design, with spacey and lovely balconies. Being without internet and almost out of mobile network reach was a plus for us, as you can always walk to Plimari tavern to get online. Gio is manager there and judging by the quality of the food, I think he's doing great job (Actually, it's one of the best taverns I know). I didn't meet Gio in person, as he was absent for family matters, but he was always on the phone to answer our questions. Plus, the owner Spiros lives on the upper floor of the villa, he speaks English and he was also great host and always there to help resolve our dilemmas. Pelion in general is pretty unique place as it offers many sandy beaches and perfect hiking paths. I recommend tracking from Hania, on the top of mountain, to Agia Saranta beach. On your way down, you can even cool down under ancient waterfalls, in dazzlingly clear waters. Probably the best apples in the world are grown near Zagora village, so if you're there in the right season, don't miss to taste them. Also visit wild Falkistra beach and Hidden School on the cliff. Now, if drinking frappe on a sunbed is your idea of of fun, and if really curvy roads make you sick, than Pelion is not the place for you. But if you're explorer, there's really a lot to explore on Pelion. Especially if your base camp is such a comfortable and beautiful spot as villa Elitza. The world has many great wonders. It's all there to be found.

Spiros - who was staying above in his family apartment was a wonderful host. Helpful, informative and generous. We were met by Spiros, who drove us to the apartment. it would be very hard to find otherwise. On arrival he gave us Masitka - very chewy! He also arrived one lunchtime with a fantastic pizza, freshly baked by his daughter in the pizza oven and a great bottle of Pelopennese wine. We had great suggestions from him about were to eat and visit. Plimari taverna is worth a visit and very good value. So was the souvlaki van on Chorefto beach! The best of our whole holiday. If Spiros suggests driving on the 'downstairs' roads - don't!! Fine for confident 4x4 local drivers. Not great for hire cars and tourists! The little cove, down from Villa Elitsa was beautiful to swim in, clear, turquoise sea.We would have stayed there all day. Unfortunately the wind picked up so you can't get into the water, safely, from the rocks. Spiros warned us about this too. This part of the Pelion is stunning and remote. Lots of winding roads. Even though it was August, the landscape was densely and lushly forrested. Lots of local agriculture. We purchased delicious honey, grapes, figs and apples from nearby growers and had to stop, often to let the goats cross the roads! Much nicer than lower down the peninsular, where it becomes hotter and open. Thank you so much Spiros and family, for being a great host
