1880's character loft apartment... Brick walls... 15' ceiling... Skylights... Wine on rooftop patio (bbq!!!)... Coffee in courtyard... Seals & marine life just steps from front door... ALL IN DOWNTOWN VICTORIA! (Sounds almost too good to be true!)
A modern conversion of an 1880's-era hotel, The Oriental, in 2012 created this beautiful loft apartment. While certainly compact, this 500 sq ft little dynamo boasts everything you could want: 2 comfy beds (one queen/loft; the other double/full memory foam La-Z-boy sofa bed), full kitchen, full bath, washer-dryer... Has everything the average hotel doesn't!
Disponible para huéspedes
In addition to the entire apartment, guests can access & enjoy a barbecue on a beautiful root-top patio (shared) while taking in a breath-taking 360 degree view of Victoria and it's harbour.

I am just 1/4 of an amazing little family - the other members being husband, Justin, his 13 year old daughter, Jordan and our 5 year old Irish Wolfhound x, Emmy. We love the adventure of meeting people and new experiences in general. We love to eat/drink/run our way around - wherever the wind happens to be blowing (we're very spontaneous) - and together have bought and traveled via 1945 houseboat (fun failure...), a 1969 Boler trailer (success!), a 1994 Saab convertible (swoon...), a 1995 Land Rover Discovery (still going strong) and a 2002 Dodge Ram/5th wheel combo. Every once in a while we take a plane to a far-away castle but we prefer the open roads of BC, WA, OR and CA. We have a love/hate with BC Ferries (love being the last on/hate being the first rejected... sigh...) and feel it's time they rewarded us for our loyalty with our names on the side of one of their ships.
We currently live in a beautiful condo just off the beach in Colwood but have lived in Vancouver, Calgary, New York City, Toronto and Edinburgh.
Our current plans include getting to know the amazing restaurants around Vancouver Island and the surrounding Gulf Islands.
Long live adventure!!!
