Great Place! Very nice and clean. For locals it might be a no-brainer, for me it wasnt: you have to Pay in addition local tax upon your arrival. Just keep this in mind when managing your Budget.

Lodge At Jackson Village is a travel hotel. Close to restaurants and Mount Washington. The owners & staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast included some tasty hot porridges and puddings I'd never had before. Room was clean. We got the last available room, and it was quite dated.

We arrived at the Lodge at Jackson late on a rainy Tues night. Had a little trouble finding it as the AirBnB address simply listed "53, Jackson, NH when it entered it into my Passbook. But once we got there found our rooms to be clean and comfortable. Though we did not find the rooms looking anything like the rooms they show on their main website, which looked very elegant. Perhaps that is a Bridal Suite. Our room was a fairly standard hotel room, two queen beds, small basic table and two chairs, TV. You can find a partial view of that under "Hotel Rooms" on their website. I just mention this so no one else is disappointed. We were also disappointed they did not offer even a continental breakfast, telling us they only offer that on weekends. Every other place we stayed on our 10 day trip at least offered that, if not home cooked meals. Perhaps this was listed and we missed it, but finding this place on AirBnB just had us assuming we'd at least get muffins or cereal and fruit and yogurt for breakfast. And the three apples we took from the one basket of fruit were all soft and rotten inside. But again, the room was clean and functional, if not fancy. And the owner recommended the Red Fox Bar & Grille, just minutes away, where we had wonderful homemade bread, tasty clam chowder, and an excellent thin crust pizza. And I did find the common area to be nice and quiet for reading later in the evening once I found the light switches (ask the front desk before they close because they are no where to be found in the actual room!) to turn off all the very bright overhead lights in there. All in all it was just fine, but more just a country motel vs the "lodge" feel we were hoping for and expecting from the photos online.

Respuesta de Christopher:
Hi Debb! I apologize for the confusion. I have updated our address and added specific directions with landmarks to make things easier for guests to find us! We are in the process of updating our rooms and are getting rid of all the bedspreads, curtains and going with a cleaner an fresher look. I apologize that we didn't have breakfast while you were here. With most reservations coming from GDS systems such as expedia and (URL HIDDEN) at cheaper rates we have had to slowly remove breakfast and starting in 2015 we won;'t be offering breakfast anymore. It's a shame but due to the nature of how people are booking and that much people are just looking for super deals we've had to cut some of our amenities.

The Lodge is a family business with attention to detail and guest comfort. It is very close to Mt. Washington, which was our reason to be in the area. The front desk was very helpful and they were able to be flexible with check-in times. We enjoyed the continental breakfast served poolside and admired all the gardens. They have done a great job keeping the Lodge traditional, yet up to date. Booking through AirBnB was cheaper than the direct online advertised rates. Great communication with Christopher, one of the innkeepers sons.

Great spot in Jackson, NH. Less than 15 minute drive from Tuckerman's Ravine trailhead in Pinkham Notch - was perfect for us when we finished Mt. Washington, and Chris recommended some nice restaurants in the area. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Grounds were beautiful but didn't have time to try our hands at Tennis or take a dip in the pool.

The staff at the Jackson Lodge were perfectly welcoming. The experience at the inn was perfect. In fact, the inn keeper gave us great recommendations for our Mount Washington hike. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Mt Washington.
