I will be there to greet you! Since I work from home I am around most of the day time.
You can even take some savvy sewing class or make a hat for an extra fee at the studio.
I'd love to share a tea or wine with you on the porch, if time permits. I will have maps and names of places in the area to go. Also check the guidebook! Portland is so cool!
Otros aspectos destacables
There is a black cat named VooDoo. He is super friendly and WILL NOT be in your room. He roams the place, with a healthy dose of curled up sleeping time. I keep the place very clean and free of hair; if you are highly allergic you might be bothered. I have one small room that can be occupied by another person at times; two bathrooms make it not a problem!
Taxis are available right from airport. Many times I use the MAX Light Rail system - from the baggage claim area to the farthest corner of the you will see signs to MAX. Pay the $2.50 fare from the kiosk and wait outside to board. It might be waiting already, the airport s it is the end of the line. The Max will take you to the Lloyd Center Stop. From there you can call a cab (
Or from the Max light rail Lloyd Center station you can walk a few blocks to at 16th and NE Multnomah. Look for a #70 bus stop ( $2.50 for all day ) and board that. Get off at 11th and SE Madison, walk East to 15th street. My place is between Main and Madison.
Kitchen is shared and equipped.
Some classes are held weekly during the day in the downstairs sewing room. You will have notice of the schedule.
You are free to come and go at those times without a worry of disruption. Since you will be sharing my home, I will have some more details to explain with you when we meet.

Hi and welcome ! Please have a profile as I live here and need to 'know you'. I will make attempt to accommodate late arrivals, but please respect the 4 to 7 PM check-in time. I can be flexible on check out, but please notify me in advance.
Respect the Old House; this Portland home is over 108 years old and she deserves delicate care. You will be staying with the owner; though I won't bother you and I'm pretty chill.
Communication is key~ find a way to talk with me- text, email or the white board on the frig. Please: no door slamming, no partying, no smoking, clean up if you make a mess or contact me to provide any clean up supplies.
The bed is comfy the house is mostly quiet and it can be a super space for getting some much-needed rest after traveling!
The front of the house is open for a walk through or a simple dinner. I'd love you to look over my art available for purchase.
See that hat?! That's a signature look for me. I am a Milliner and Custom Clothier; a creative and artistic person with a love of life. Add a touch of luxury and a bit of vintage to create a story about my history. I am sure at one time I lived in a small town in Italy in the late 1920's. We all love stories!
Oregon feeds me with it's beautiful nature; a continual source of inspiration.
I have lived in Portland for 35 years, raised a family here and taught many students. Life is impermanence, so now my place is a Home Boutique and Sewing studio and I LIVE here, too Come see what's up, relax on the porch, or the atelier and let's share some stories.
