Rhian was an amazing host! Her air bnb is very clean. The room was cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean and stocked with toiletries. The location is also really great. There's a bus stop right on the main street (literally 1 min walk from the air bnb, with busses running every 5 minutes). You can also walk over to the metro line in about 7 minutes. Although it's close to the main street, inside the air bnb is pretty quite (which is nice after a long day of touring). The area feels very safe. I was travelling solo and came back late at night without feeling uneasy. For those taking the bus and who want to get to the touristy spots of London: the location is not too far out from the city, but it's not city center. It takes about 20 minutes by public transportation to get the main touristy areas. It's also very easy to call an uber to this place (they're always just a few mins away) and can get you to soho or mayfair in less than 15 mins when there's not too much traffic. I found taking the metro much faster and easier, since its underground, no traffic, super fast and hits all the major stops. If you plan to take the metro, make sure to get an "oyster card". This is a tap and go card for the underground and busses, that you can reload. It's the cheapest way to get around.
Rhian was very communicative and great with directions. She told me exactly which bus and train I needed to take to get to her place and which busses/trains were perfect to get to downtown, which was great as it was my first time in London. She's very easy to talk to and was able to provide everything I needed. Her kitchen and fridge was stocked with all sorts of goodies such as a variety of coffee and teas, fruits, cereal, water, the list goes on. Her guests are welcome to take what they please. Another bonus for me was her dog, who was super cute and friendly. Wish I could have stayed for a few more days. I would definitely book with her again! It was home away from home.
Thanks so much Rhian! See you next time =)
