Our home is located in an established neighborhood just minutes from I-64 which which leads to Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and other historical sites. 20 minutes to the downtown Virginia Beach where you can enjoy residential beach use or the beach in front of the hotels. Month to month stays are the preferred way. Just arriving back in the country or moving and need a place for a month, this is it! This 1900 s.f. brick ranch has everything you need. Enjoy your morning java on Lake Smith.
When we visit our home, we enjoy hanging out in the living/dining room which overlooks the back yard and lake. We find it peaceful. Basic TV stations are offered plus there is a Blue-ray player with some movies available. The fireplace is pretty but not to be used.

Atención a los huéspedes
I have friends who live in the area that will be available if necessary.
The rules of the house are to enjoy your stay, if you break something, please let me know. We would appreciate that you leave the house pretty much how you found it. Please strip your sheets and place in a pile so we know they were used. Load the dishwasher but please do not start it. We will take care of that. Please lock the doors when you leave the house for the day.

I am a native Vermonter that has traveled and lived in several states before deciding to move back to Vermont. Virginia Beach has been a part of my life since I was a baby and even though it has changed over time, I still enjoy every visit. Over the years, my husband and I have brought our 3 children to the Hampton Roads area to educate, explore and play in the sand. I love the ocean and find it very relaxing. The Va. Beach Aquarium and Adventure Park are very cool places to visit. Civil War museums and shopping are also wonderful. We found a movie theatre that you can dine and enjoy a beer while watching the movie...something we don't have where we live now.
If and when we have the opportunity to travel elsewhere we prefer B&B's because it feels more like home. When we stay in hotels, we typically go for the ones that have a mini kitchen. Just makes life easier especially when you have kids. We are very active and will sometimes bring our mountain bikes which enables us to explore one of the parks near the beach. The big Event we really enjoy is Labor Day week-end and the Rock and Roll Half Marathon. Lots of great music on the beach! Very fun.
