First, the apartment and garden looked exactly like it does in the photos. You get everything you see in the photos and more. We stayed in early September, and the garden was green and the flowers were blooming.
The location could not be better. It's located in the old town area, with easy walking to the river, Prešeren Square, and other old town sites. You can walk out of the apartment building and pick from multiple restaurants (we ate at Marley & Me and recommend it.) Even though it's a busy location during the day, it is quiet at night.
The apartment is very comfortable, with plenty of room. I found the bed comfortable, and slept well (I'm very picky when it comes to beds.) The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and tools (electric kettle, pots and pans, dishes, knives, etc.) It contained staples like salt and pepper, cooking oil, coffee and tea. Also available were milk, butter, cereal and biscuits. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and reheated restaurant leftovers to save money and enjoy the apartment. If weather is good, eat on the porch.
Keep in mind that the apartment is on the third floor of the apartment building (fourth floor if you count the ground floor) and there is no elevator. Pack light and plan to wash clothes in the washing machine. The walk up the stairs is worth it. You'll be walking a lot in Ljubljana, so a few extra flights of stairs is not much.
The check in process was very easy. Romina's assistant Luna met us at the apartment (with glasses of schnapps) and showed us around the apartment. She demonstrated how to use all the major appliances (washing machine, gas stove, etc.) and gave us tips for things to do around Ljubljana.
This was my first time using AirBnb and I was very impressed. I would stay here again in an instant.
