We offer a large and beautiful attic space with en-suite. Carefully furnished allowing guests space to relax in very quiet surroundings. There is a comfortable double bed,a single bed, and we have a travel cot at hand if needed. Tea and coffee and fresh water in your room. If there are three adults staying, we ask you to pay an extra 6 euros to cover the extra breakfast.
Delicious dinners are available by prior arrangement at 24 euro per head, includes wine etc...come visit soon!
La Tisonnais is an atmospheric place, as soon as you enter through the arch under the pigeonair, you enter another world of peace and beauty.
The house dates back to the 17th century, so the attic if full of chunky beams. The en-suite features a super shower and under floor heating.Plenty of books to read, wifi. There is a comfy double bed with mosquito net and linens and towels are provided.

Guests are welcome to make use of the lovely gardens and chairs, dinner alfresco if you would like. There is a covered sitting area where you can enjoy outdoors whilst under cover,,, masses of lovely villages nearby, beaches etc.
There is a fishing lake nearby.

Sally and Chris now live in a tiny hamlet called La Tisonnais near the village of St Maden.
I was a potter for many years and drifted into running workshops at museums and schools and festivals...Now i paint and pot a bit, sell from here or the internet. I am an avid collecter of quirky antiques which are also for sale!
Chris is just loveable! A musician a composer of beauty We enjoy fresh local food and sampling the local wines. Books are everywhere and art materials. We are trying to restore the old buildings using cob etc. Our motto in life is Do as you would be done by....says it all
