Enter your passcode and open the beautiful beveled-glass front door, and feast your eyes on the oversized, ultra-modern fireplace extending to the apex of the soaring ceiling in the living room. You will delight in a myriad of custom touches such as the turquoise glass tiles in the all-stainless steel kitchen. Our Lantern Village home is centrally located. You can enjoy miles of walking paths at the Harbor, hiking at The Headlands, or spend the day at Doheny Beach, all within a mile of our home.
We invite you to enjoy this airy, ocean-modern beach house remodeled not only with ourselves in mind, but the discriminating Airbnb traveler in mind, as well. Many custom pieces of furniture, all with a sleek, contemporary flair, add to the appeal. You will be immersed in ocean colors of turquoise and deep azure blue.
The five-burner gas stovetop, along with matching, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances in the totally remodeled kitchen will make cooking a joy. The propane barbecue, together with the outdoor living furniture and a table that seats 6-8, on the very private outdoor enclosed deck and patio will add to your enjoyment of outdoor living. We haven't neglected the sunbather, as we've provided a couple of great chaise lounges to wile away the hours reading or tanning.
The house water is softened and the drinking water is on an osmosis system. The french door refrigerator, with freezer on the bottom, is very efficient in producing ice, and is easy on the back. All of the beds are very supportive, and have hotel-quality sheets and blankets.
You will love the spa-like master bath with its flat, (no step up or down to get in) walk-in shower featuring both a hand-held, and fixed, adjustable shower head. And ladies will enjoy the sit-down quartz make up table and custom mirror framed in mosaic tiles along with chocolate-colored leather vanity stool with a comfortable back. The make up station even features it's own built-in smart-phone jack! The second bathroom upstairs features the same beautiful turquoise glass tile and a new bathtub, glass enclosed with an oversized, adjustable shower head. There is plenty of convenient storage space and places to hang your towels, as well as drawers and shelves for your toiletries.
The home features high-speed internet and four flat screen TV's—one in each bedroom, and one in living area. You may access Netflix, Hulu, etc., and dozens of cable channels. There is also a whole-house Sonos sound system, and an Apple TV. We are licensed by the City of Dana Point #STR17-0708.

My husband and I are retired and grandparents whose home base is in southern Orange County, CA. I enjoy design, and have taken the lead in doing a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling remodel of our home to share with you. We love bright colors, and colors of the ocean, and have used them liberally in this home. Together, my husband, Len and I, enjoy reading, walking, and travel. We especially like to leave the mini suv that we share, parked in the garage, and venture out on any and all forms of public transportation. If you are into homes that are walkable, you have found one. We have almost every convenience close by, from the local Ralph's grocery store, two blocks away, to a myriad of shops and restaurants that are dotted throughout this neighborhood of Lantern Bay Village, down on to the waterfront at Dana Point Harbor. We plan to travel the most during the summer and winter months, to places on the water. Two of our favorite places to go are Hawaii and Seattle. With us, family is always first!
