The apartment is on the 4th floor of a centenary building that over the years, has been renovated with all modern amenities, while keeping the original character building.
The views are breathtaking; from here you see the roofs of the historic center, the Douro River and there boats, far away, the smooth hillside of Vila Nova de Gaia city, and more close, the gorgeous Vitoria church. The sun come inside of the apartment The sun fills the apartment of light, whitch have 100m2 and 3 bedrooms, and is very luminous and spacious.
The apartment is prepped to receive 6 guests, even 7, and have all the amenities: cooker, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker and kettle.
This apartment is located in the old Jewish quarter called Olival. Here you will meet the locals, the most picturesque people in town; they are very welcoming and joyous and fill the streets with their typical language and sincere generosity.
Wander through the narrow streets and steep stairways in this area, have lunch in the restaurant “Caraças” (cheap and very typical) and visit the renovated cafés and shops in town. If you like walking, go down the narrow streets which you lead you to the river, hire a bike and cycle down to the seafront, where you will find wonderful beaches and esplanades for all tastes.
The neighborhoods are safety and quit. Here you are close to everything: 5 minute walk from the main bus stops and 10 minutes away from the metro; it is very near to the hectic nightlife of the city, where music is everywhere and streets become full of people.
But Porto is much more than is historic Center; here you will find modern museums, amazing beaches and surf all the year. In study from the World Economic Forum (The Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report 2013), Portugal is scored in the 7th world position of the countries that best receive tourists – I definitely confirm!!
