Atención a los huéspedes
I work from home and am available most hours during the week. You will hear us during your stay as we are right upstairs, but we are generally very quiet. My husband and I travel often and may be out of town on the weekend, but always willing to help guests navigate the space and our beautiful city! We like to be independent and have our privacy when we travel, so we do our best to provide that experience for our guests.
Otros aspectos destacables
*Because we are often booked back to back we cannot accommodate early check-ins or late check-out.
*During the week we wake up at 6 or 7AM, so you may hear us getting ready for work if you stay during the week (including grinding coffee and making breakfast). During the weekend we try to stay quiet until 8AM.
* Quiet hours are from 9PM - 6AM everyday.
*Seattle is a wet city most of the year and our listing is located at the foot of a small slope. Use caution when you walk down the driveway and on the porch, especially at night!
*My husband and I exercise upstairs most days of the week which does produce a little extra noise for an hour or less, typically between 5:30-7PM on weekdays and during the early afternoon on weekends. If you need to nap during those times or believe it will bother you during your stay simply less us know ahead of time and we are happy to accommodate!
*We do allow quiet dogs and cats. Maximum (2) animals, and a $20 pet fee will be applied to your stay. Please contact me ahead of time if you are bringing an animal. Animals are not allowed on furniture. Dogs and cats ONLY.
*We have two animals - a cat and a small dog - who make normal amounts of animal noises. You may hear our puppy walking around or making random sprints through the house during the day.
*I may occasionally request access to the laundry during longer guest stays. Our units are finicky and therefore not available for guest use.
*Your comfort and safety are important to us, so if you notice that you do not have what you need please let me know!
NO smoking or loud dogs.
NO outside guests may visit the apartment. If you have friends in the city, please visit them at their residence. This violates our House Rules and will be subject to a $100 fine.
NO parties. We encourage you to enjoy your stay, but sound travels easily in the apartment. We try to be extremely conscientious of our noise level, and appreciate the same courtesy from our guests. If there are only two guests it should not be the volume of a party.
My husband and I currently live in Seattle, WA but travel as often as we can. Most of our travels are spent interviewing and photographing artists, makers, and craftsmen for Woven Magazine.
Five things we can't live without: healthy food, good shoes, traveling, coffee, and stories. We love eating well, our cat and corgi, The Office, and experiencing the culture of new cities.
As guests: We always look for places we stay to be interesting and clean. We usually get in late and leave early, so we love cozy beds and Netflix while we're in between travels. At the end of our visit, hosts can count on us to leave their space the way we found it.
As hosts: We're pretty private and keep a hectic schedule of managing a small business and traveling for work. We go to bed and wake up early, but are always eager to give suggestions or help you find your way in this beautiful city we've come to love!
