We welcome you to your ideal Marin retreat. Situated above the trees of Cascade Canyon, this upstairs duplex home is warm, bright, comfortable. The heart of the house is its sunny, fully equipped kitchen with open aired entry to the lovely dining room. Snuggle up on the fold out futon in front of the homey Franklin Stove fireplace in the high-cathedral ceilinged living room. Windows and sliding doors beckon you to enjoy the spectacular view of Mt.Tamalpais, filling the interior with sunlight and providing views of the oaks, bays, madrones, and redwoods of the canyon.
The master bedroom has a queen bed and high wood-beamed ceiling, a loft solidly sits above in which one can get a birds eye view. One can exit through the sliding doors onto the large back deck to enjoy the vast outdoors. The second bedroom features a captain's bunk bed with a serene, ship-like feel. We provide off street parking, WIFI, a private laundry room, etc…
The outdoor spaces rival the indoor. Listen to the chirping of crickets and the rushing of our seasonal creek during the rainy season or the yipping and howling of the coyotes across the canyons. You are bound to see deer as you come up and down our hill from the town. If you are a bird watcher this will be your paradise!
Enjoy your morning coffee at the bistro table on the balcony or choose to sit at the rustic wooden table slab and dine al fresco. Read the Sunday paper in the comfy reading nook with in the living room. Catch some rays in the reclining lawn chairs, the very private, south-facing deck is sunny all day long, but there is plenty of shade under the lattice laced canopy, as well.
Even if you are visiting on business, you can feel like you are on vacation. You’ll love your stay at this beautiful home, and the adventures you’ll have nearby. We welcome you to our little slice of paradise. Please contact us for more information.

I was born for adventure and travel, having a Dutch mother who came to the United States on a Fulbright grant to attend the university of Texas, and a father who was an officer with the Strategic Air Command at the Bergstrom Air Force Base. I've traveled Europe extensively, visiting family and exchange students who've become long time valued friends. I've been lucky enough to have been exposed to life time changing events, such as traveling with my good friend and staying with his family in East Germany during the Christmas and New Years of 1989. I saw the Wall being dismantled right in front of my eyes! I own a successful equestrian tack, feed, and apparel shop called Marin Tack and Feed and My husband runs the well known North Bay Farrier Service here in Marin County (black smith). On days off we enjoy listening to live music, he is also a musician, dining at one of our tasty local restaurants, or exploring the glorious hills in and around the Bay Area on foot, by bike, or astride our horses Sid and Billy. Join us here in paradise on earth! In this place, one can enjoy life, treating each day as a momentous dynamic in the journey of life.
