My husband and I just left this magical place, and we already can't wait to go back! We truly cannot say enough great things about this place, or put into words how special this place is. The owners are wonderful, and we instantly felt at home with them. The animals on the farm are precious! We took a walk up to their special Monkey Tree, and were followed by all of the goats, who, as a matter of fact, loved to be pet, scratched and snuggled. We even got to hold some baby goats, and bottle feed them! We were able to help milk the goats, collect fresh farm eggs (which we ate for breakfast), and explore the beautiful, and ever so peaceful land. There is a beautiful weeping willow, with a cute little bench under it, overlooking a pond full of ducks, that is a perfect place to curl up with a book and a cup of coffee, or glass of wine. There is a lovely fire pit that we did not utilize, but will be sure to put to use the next time we stay here. I cannot forget to mention their sweet donkeys, goofy looking llamas (as all llamas are), their pigs, ducks, chickens...this is truly a special place♡

Cindy has a magnificent home and lovely working farm set in the beautiful rolling rolls of Onalaska/La Crosse Wisconsin. Everyone was helpful in educating us on their goats, lambs, chickens, llamas, and pigs! I also took a hike and explored their grounds which included several barns, chicken coop, gardens and a children's play house situated on a beautiful pond. Finally it was time for a delicious breakfasts. I can't wait to return to this "special piece of heaven, here on earth"...

This was such a picturesque place!! We loved getting to spend time with the animals, enjoy a walk by the pond and a glass of wine on the back porch. Our room overlooked the pond and the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. They even made up a little extra bed for my youngest daughter when we expected her to sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, made with eggs we had helped collect the day before. I would definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing getaway.

Rainbow Ridge was one of the best AirBnB's I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in a lot. They had so much to see and do and were so nice and friendly. A few things to note: The stairs are crazy steep if you're in the upstairs rooms. The "shower" upstairs is... interesting. It takes some getting used to. There's another downstairs though. The walls are a bit thin. I could hear other guests, and I fear they may have overheard us as well. Go up to the monkey tree with the goats at sunset. It's stunning. Be sure to stick around for breakfast, it's also quite special and delicious. Mostly local to the farm in fact. Go to the Red Pines if/when you go out, you won't regret it. It's got the best food (really quite astoundingly good) and is quite reasonably priced. Wear the boots they provide, or you'll be cleaning goat poop off of your shoes for an hour. Spend some quality time with the goats and donkeys, and sheep too if you're so inclined. They really seem to love the attention. Know where you're going when you leave. Cellular reception is spotty (but fairly reliable if you move around) and places you may want to go in/around Onalaska/La Crosse aren't well marked or defined. We wanted to find some hiking and biking and it was an adventure. Eventually we found it, but only after a lot of missteps. We will be back. It really was a magical little place.

I really enjoyed my stay at Rainbow Ridge Farm. The breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start the weekend of adventure in La Crosse. If you want to have a nice, clean, welcoming place to stay for a night or weekend then look no further. This place was wonderful.

We had a great experience staying with Cindy and Donna for a Saturday night, and checked out later in the day Sunday. The property feels remote and quiet but isn't far out of the way or difficult to get to. Definitely walk up to the monkey tree and watch the goats run after you and follow you as you walk! Breakfast by Donna was tasty and Cindy did everything she could to accommodate us. Would stay here again.
