This is the top-floor unit in a classic NYC-style walkup apartment. It is a proper 1 bedroom unit with original hardwood floors, high ceilings, and lots of light. Perfect for a couple, or three friends who don't mind sharing the two available beds.
The unit itself is compact and cozy with all the character you might expect from a building constructed in 1920. Note that this is on the 4th floor of the building, and that there is no elevator. It's a lot of stairs to come and go, but great exercise!
Rooms are equipped and furnished as follows...
Bathroom: large walk-in shower (no bathtub), toilet, sink
Kitchen: full size fridge/freezer, gas oven/range, stainless steel sink, Nespresso espresso maker, toaster
Living room: small dining table with two chairs, a chaise longue, a loveseat, coffee table, side table. 46-inch 1080p Samsung television, Xbox One, Apple TV, Bose Wave Speaker with bluetooth streaming
Bedroom: Queen size bed with West Elm linens. Bedside table on each side of the bed. Air purifier available. Inflatable full-size mattress also available. Window air conditioner installed in this room allows for cool sleeping, and provides moderate cooling for the rest of the apartment.

Otros aspectos destacables
I do not have a washer/dryer for you to use, but I can recommend a nearby laundromat for your laundry needs. Feel free to message me with any questions.
No smoking, no illegal drug use, and no pets. Sorry! I love animals but my building does not allow them.
A critical rule: be quiet and discreet in the stairwell and all common areas of the building. Phone calls and loud conversations should never be held in the hallway or in the stairwells.
Noise levels: NYC living is loud and stressful, so being a good neighbor is of the utmost importance. Be mindful of the volume of your music and movies, and remove shoes once inside the apartment to minimize the disturbance to your neighbors below. No parties of any kind are permitted. Silent hours are 10pm-8am and must be followed.
Trash should be taken out regularly during your stay, and must be emptied before you checkout as well. There are trash receptacles on East 73rd, about 20 meters to the east of York Avenue.
Please also note that there is no dishwasher (very common in NYC, unfortunately for me!). You are welcome to make yourself at home and prepare meals using the kitchen and utensils, but note that dishes must be washed by hand before the end of your stay. There is plenty of dish soap and scrubbers for you to use, and a handy drying rack next to the sink.
